Every dollar makes a difference.

No state or federal child safety-net program allocates dollars specifically for the purchase of diapers, yet diapers are a constant out-of-pocket expense (the average family spends about $80 per month on disposable diapers alone) (see nationaldiaperbanknetwork.org for more statistics). However, 40 reusable diapers provided by Permanent Diaper Relief will eventually diaper not just one child, but up to four generations of diaper-wearing babies. That’s $2,880 per baby and $11,520 for all four babies saved by your monthly contribution.

How could your monetary donation directly help Permanent Diaper Relief?

  • One stash of new cloth diapers costs $350. Within one year of a $30 monthly donation, you’ll have donated a full, new diaper stash to 4+ babies in a lifespan of the diapers.
  • A monthly contribution of $40 will cover a family’s diaper relief service fee.
  • General operating expenses add up. Through any monetary contribution, you’ll help Permanent Diaper Relief continue to assist Oklahoma families, putting $960 back into the pockets of our community members, per baby, per year.

We graciously accept t-shirts and other absorbent, pre-loved household items

Did you know that three pre-loved t-shirts can make two diapers? If you’re not comfortable making a monetary donation, we’ll gladly take any unused t-shirts off your hands. 60 t-shirts makes 40 reusable diapers, which is one week of diaper changes and enough diapers to cover a baby from birth to potty training. Clean out your closet and donate your unused t-shirts, towels, rags, etc. to Permanent Diaper Relief. You’ll be glad you did!
